Job description

Summary: The Picker will be responsible for performing various warehouse duties. This may include picking, checking, packaging, and restocking of merchandise with proper warehouse industrial equipment.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 06:30 PM, 2 Saturday(s) a month from 08:00 AM to 01:00 PM
Seniority Level: Entry Level
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $19.75 to $22.75 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $49,500 and $65,400 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Responsible for picking, packaging, checking merchandise, put-away, and loading pallets.
  • Operate industrial warehouse equipment such as: Order Picker, Reach Truck, Sit-down or Stand-up Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, and other equipment as assigned.
  • Restock items and conduct inventory.
  • Repackage and re-palletize the tile product on the ground or in the racks.
  • Complete daily equipment checklist prior to operating any industrial lifts.
  • Perform additional duties as required and or requested.

Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two (2) plus years of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Industrial Warehouse Equipment experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of using a computer or tablet is a plus.

This role has the following physical demands:

  • The employee must regularly lift, pull and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position.
