Welcome to Maine School Administrative District #75
Serving Maine's Midcoast communities of Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell, and Topsham, MSAD 75 is home to over 2,350 students and more than 600 faculty and staff members.
MSAD 75 is seeking District-Wide Substitute School Nurses to join our vibrant educational community. Together, we can inspire the next generation of learners and leaders.
2026-2027 PAY RATE: $239.00/per day
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Assess and evaluate the health and development status of students.
  • Promote and maintain health and well-being of students and school personnel through counseling and direct care, as necessary.
  • Support individual health plans for the care of students with chronic health conditions, disabilities and those needing treatment or medications.
  • Collect and maintain confidential records within professional and legal boundaries and District guidelines.
  • Skill and experience supporting students with variety of self-care, mental health and developmental needs in the Kindergarten through Grade 5 span.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid Maine Registered Professional Nurse License.
  • Completed a minimum of three years' experience as a nurse.
  • Valid Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC)
  • Valid Department of Education (524) School Nurse PreK-12 Certification, preferred (required for long-term substitutes)
