Job description

Location: State Street Clinic, 1600 State Street, Salem, Oregon 97301
Department: State Street Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinic
Position Type: Full Time, 40 hours/week, Exempt
Schedule: Four 10-hour days or four 9-hour days plus a 4-hour half day, prefer Monday - Thursday due to clinic needs. Clinic hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Join our dedicated rehabilitation team at Salem Health's Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinic, where we specialize in postoperative orthopedic rehabilitation. As a physical therapist, you'll play a vital role in helping patients recover from surgical procedures with personalized, patient centered and evidence-based care. This position is ideal for experienced therapists who thrive in a focused, high-quality clinical environment.

What you'll do
  • Deliver one-on-one physical therapy services focused on postoperative orthopedic recovery.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to surgical protocols.
  • Educate patients and families on recovery expectations and home exercises.
  • Contribute to a supportive and efficient clinic environment.

Required qualifications
  • BS, MS, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
  • State of Oregon Physical Therapy license or license eligible.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
  • Minimum of one year of outpatient orthopedic experience.
  • Strong understanding of postoperative rehabilitation protocols.

Additional information
  • Experience in a post-op orthopedic rehabilitation clinic preferred.
  • Familiarity with surgical recovery timelines and patient education.
  • Exceptional time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
