Job Description:

Kallidus Technologies, Inc. is looking to fill-in a position for Estimator/Project Engineer with a high energy level and who are passionate about what they do. The position will be responsible for performing a variety of duties, including the following:

* Participating the construction bidding process

* Perform takeoff for labor and material, solicit for bids from contractors, prepare bid
package

* Perform buyouts of suppliers and subcontractors

* Preparing submittal package

* Oversight of subcontractors

* Site visits

* Developing and monitoring the budget for the individual projects

* Coordinating schedules and monitoring works in progress

* Preparing and submitting monthly payment requisition to the owner

* Value Engineering, RFIs and review of drawings and specifications

Qualifications:

* Qualified individuals will have a Bachelor's degree preferably in Civil Engineering or Construction Workeragement or equivalent and strong academic or work record.

* 2-3-4 years experience in estimation for Federal or Public or Institutional Construction projects

* Hands-on computer applications including but not limited to: MS Office, Expedition, MS Project, CAD and PDF

* LEED AP, plus

* Previous CH149 projects experience a plus

* Individual must have a desire to be a leader in construction workeragement arena.

* Motivated self-starter

* Willingness to learn, ability to follow directions

* Must be able to ready engineering drawings and interpret specifications.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
