The group you'll be a part of
In the Global Products Group, we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam's etch and deposition products. We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry.
The impact you'll make
At Lam as a Product Marketing Manager for dielectrics deposition, you will take the lead focused on managing the product and commercial strategy of ALD and PECVD dielectric deposition products.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for product marketing of the Dielectric Films Business Unit (DFBU). This role is part of the Deposition Product Group (DPG) business development and marketing team, specifically working closely with the DFBU. Typical interactions will include cross-functional collaboration with the product group engineering, technology, and product management teams, as well as with business development and regional sales teams.
  • Assess market requirements, SAM, CI, and pricing to create MRS for PDR deliverables.
  • Product competitive intelligence for use in MRS, roadmaps, pricing, and positioning.
  • Apps model inputs (product position for N+2, including price and estimated productivity improvements, and model reviewer).
  • Maintain a CoO model for the product, competitor CoO models, and positioning collateral using CoO as a strategic selling value.
  • Sales collateral.
  • New product and feature pricing through value analysis; set target price.

Who we're looking for
  • Technical bachelor's degree or related field with 12+ years of experience; or a master's degree with 8 years of experience; or a PhD with 5 years of experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Deposition process experience and integration knowledge of logic and memory will be a plus.
  • Creative thinking, problem-solving, troubleshooting capabilities, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated customer experience with clear communication and presentation skills.

Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in semiconductor equipment space for +10 years.
  • Experience coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable traveling 25% of the time.
