What does an MRP manager do?

An MRP (Material Requirements Planning) Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and coordination of materials required for manufacturing processes. They ensure that inventory levels are optimized, production schedules are met, and materials are available when needed without causing excess stock. MRP Managers work closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to streamline supply chain operations and minimize costs. How does an MRP manager typically collaborate with supply chain, production, and procurement teams to ensure efficient materials planning?
