MRI Technologist Position Summary

Performs MRI procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail.  Assumes responsibility for designated areas, procedures and students as assigned. 

MRI Technologist Position Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Allied Health Program in Radiologic Technology is required. 
  • Prior MRI experience required.  
  • Certification in MRI preferred - will be required within 2 years.

MRI Technologist Work Schedule

  • Day shift, Monday through Friday with alternating call.
  • Schedule may expand to cover evening or weekend depending on patient demand. Shared call.
  • All procedures must be completed by the end of the day. Overtime may be required.
  • Expected to respond in the event of a disaster.
  • Demonstrates personal responsibility for maintaining a satisfactory attendance record.

MRI Technologist Benefits

  • At TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
