MRI Technologist
Location: Woodland Park, NJ
Department: Diagnostic Imaging
Reports To: Imaging Manager / Director of Imaging Services
Position Summary
Our MRI Technologists collaborate with our medical and conservative care teams. Imaging is an integral part of our practice that includes medical doctors, orthopedic surgeons, functional medicine practitioners, and pain management physicians.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality MRI examinations with emphasis on musculoskeletal imaging
  • Ensure patient safety and MRI safety screening
  • Administer contrast media per New Jersey regulations
  • Optimize MRI scan parameters for image quality
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff
  • Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation
  • Support MRI quality assurance (QA) and quality control activities
  • Assist with equipment performance monitoring and safety checks
  • Stand out as a valuable team member, bringing energy in collaboration with all other healthcare disciplines in a team setting to help our patients GET BETTER FASTER!
Qualifications
Education
  • Accredited Radiologic Technology education
  • ARRT (R)(MR) or ARMRIT
  • Active NJ Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License
  • Contrast administration training
  • BLS required; ACLS preferred
  • Knowledge of MRI QA processes and safety standards
