MRI Technologist

Compensation: $55.00 โ€“ $60.00 per hour (DOE)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Setting: Diagnostic Imaging Center / Clinical Environment


Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused MRI Technologist to operate high-field MRI equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images. This role requires a strong balance of technical expertise, attention to detail, and compassionate patient care while supporting efficient workflow operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate high-field MRI systems to capture accurate diagnostic images
  • Safely position patients using immobilization and protective equipment
  • Screen patients thoroughly for MRI safety prior to procedures
  • Assist radiologists during imaging procedures as needed
  • Perform radiologic procedures outside of MRI when required
  • Review images for quality, accuracy, and proper labeling
  • Schedule patients and assist with administrative/clerical tasks
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Support training and onboarding of new technologists
  • Provide compassionate care addressing patientsโ€™ physical and emotional needs
  • Coordinate daily patient flow and scheduling for efficiency


Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Active state licensure required
  • Prior experience as an MRI and/or X-ray technologist
  • Ability to lift or assist patients and stand for extended periods
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Patient-focused, compassionate, and detail-oriented
