What You'll Do (Besides Becoming an Elder Favorite):
Assist residents with daily living activities
Offer kind words, warm smiles, and a listening ear
Keep things running smoothly with documentation and teamwork
Join in on fun events and activities (yes, eggroll making, or bean bag baseball, may be involved!)
What We're Looking For:
Current CNA certification (Texas)
A heart for service and a team spirit
Passion for elder care and building meaningful connections
MRC's Cornerstone is a leader in retirement living offering independent living, assisted living, memory care, home health services, and skilled nursing and rehabilitation.
Required Education/Certification/Licensure:
  • High school graduate or equivalent is desired.
  • Completion of Certified Nursing Aide(Texas) program is required.
  • Possession of a valid Texas Certified Nurse Aide certification, or ability to obtain as required by regulation prior to start of work.

Training and Experience:
  • One year of experience, preferably as a hospital or long term care nursing assistant is preferred.

Job Knowledge:
  • Knowledge/ability to learn computer skills.
  • Must have a working knowledge of basic patient care procedures.
