Campus Support Assistant
Tanque Verde Unified School District is seeking a Campus Support Assistant at Agua Caliente Elementary School. This is a part-time position working 16 hours per week. We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, attentive to detail, and capable of performing physical tasks. Key responsibilities include low level maintance and custodial duties. This position requires being on your feet, responding to emergency situations and providing assistance as needed, and collaborating with other staff members to ensure a safe and clean environment. This position will perform other duties as assigned.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Custodial duties
-Set up and take down lunch tables, trash cans, cleaning supplies in MPR/outside for food service.
-Assist with cleaning of MPR around meal service times.
-Assist with supervision of students as assigned.
-Spot check and clean bathrooms as needed or assigned.
-Assist with supervision at after school events as needed.
-Assist with supervision of students during passing periods.
- May assist with basic maintenance as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Ability to work outdoors in a variety of settings and weather conditions.
-Ability to work independently and reliably without supervision in order to accomplish assigned tasks in a timely manner.
-Maintains rapport with students and staff.
-Familiar with basic safety and school security procedures.
-Excellend communication skills with students, parents, school staff, and point persons in the district.
-Excellent organizational skills required.
This position pays $15.15 per hour.
