Job description

Work With The Best
We are building the premier outdoor living company in the country by creating a "family of family companies" across the nation. Now you can build your landscaping career with the best, working in one of our many company locations nationwide. Learn from the top experts in the field and work on some of the country's largest and most complex landscape projects. Take advantage of opportunities to share and exchange best practices across our network. The opportunities are endless.
Position Summary
Ed Castro, a family company of Mariani Premier Group, is looking for a Brand Ambassador to be our very first handshake with homeowners in an exclusive, high-end residential territory. You won't be selling. You'll be the spark: introducing the brand, building real rapport, and opening the door for our Business Developers to walk the property and make the offer.
If you thrive on face-to-face connections and want to be measured on real results not just booked calendars, but appointments that actually happen, this is your seat! We are open to Full-time or part-time. Perfect for someone with a sales background who's comfortable talking to affluent clientele and closing the loop on a warm introduction.
Career Path
  • Ambassadors who consistently meet goals have the potential to move into a Business Developer or Client Representative roles based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Territory Canvassing: Work an assigned residential territory face- to- face.
  • Deliver the Opening: Introduce yourself and the brand using the approved opening, hook, and ask warm, unhurried, consultative. Never quote prices, discounts, or timelines.
  • Qualify Through Conversation: Open with a genuine compliment, then ask 2-3 natural qualifying questions to learn the household's current provider situation and decision-maker(s).
  • Capture Complete Lead Data: Record name, address, phone, email, best time to reach, current provider(s), other decision-makers, and access notes (gates, dogs, intercoms) on every qualified contact.
  • Book "Set Solid" Appointments: Book property walks that meet the Set Solid standard: right decision-maker, expectations set in one sentence, notes logged, held within three days, and confirmed twice (text plus one follow-up each from Ambassador and Business Developer).
  • Hand Off Cleanly: Brief the Business Developer with full notes so the property walk opens warm. Promise nothing beyond the walk itself.
  • Log the Full Funnel: Log every address, conversations, qualified leads, Sets, and Sits daily.
  • Represent the Brand Standard: Maintain professional appearance, follow posted no-soliciting signs and local solicitation rules, park on the street, and leave every doorstep better than it was found, booked or not.
  • Engage Household Staff as Clients: Treat estate and house managers as decision-makers, not gatekeepers. Capture their name and role; a walk arranged through staff counts as a Set.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in direct sales, canvassing, hospitality, or another client-facing role; comfort engaging high-end residential clientele preferred.
  • Professional presentation and verbal communication skills; able to build rapport quickly and read social cues.
  • Self-motivated and resilient; comfortable with rejection and repetitive door-to-door work.

  • Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to start. E-Verify employment eligibility verification is completed upon hire, consistent with federal requirements. This is a promise MPG makes to every client.
  • Available during territory-approved field hours (typically mornings 8:00-10:00 a.m. and weekday mid-afternoon through early evening; never past dusk).
  • Willingness to learn the assigned brand's service offering, service area, and competitive landscape.
Work Environment
  • This is an outdoor, field-based role involving extended walking and standing in residential neighborhoods, in varied weather within safe operating conditions.
  • Ambassadors work independently within an assigned territory and coordinate daily with a Business Developer for scheduling and lead handoff.
