Job description

Job description:

Caring Transitions of Milford is looking for an experienced Move Team Lead to join our growing senior transition

company.

This is much more than a moving job.

We help seniors and families through some of the biggest transitions of their lives. Many of our clients are downsizing

after decades in their homes, moving into senior living communities, or helping parents through emotional life

changes. We are looking for someone who not only has the skills to lead a move, but also the heart and

professionalism to care for people during these moments.

We need someone dependable, calm under pressure, respectful in clients’ homes, and willing to truly make a

difference ... not someone just looking for a paycheck.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead move projects from start to finish
  • Work alongside our current move team or lead a team of your own depending on the project
  • Properly pack and load moving trucks safely and efficiently
  • Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed
  • Hang artwork, mirrors, TVs, and other household items during resettling
  • Help create a smooth, stress-free experience for clients and families
  • Work in homes, apartments, and senior living communities throughout the area

Requirements:

  • Previous moving experience is required
  • Experience packing trucks correctly and securely
  • Comfortable using tools and handling furniture assembly/disassembly
  • Ability to hang photos, mirrors, shelving, and TVs cleanly and professionally
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift heavy items and work on your feet throughout the day
  • Professional appearance and respectful attitude in clients’ homes

Schedule & Hours:

Hours vary based on projects and client schedules. Each project is different, so flexibility is important. Some weeks are busier than others, especially during the summer months when demand is more consistent.

This position is ideal for someone who:

  • Takes pride in doing quality work
  • Likes working with people and helping families
  • Works well with a team but can also lead confidently
  • Wants meaningful work that changes from day to day
  • Understands that compassion matters just as much as skill

Pay: Starting at $25/hour based on experience

We are a small but growing husband-and-wife owned business that truly values our team and the work we do

together.

To apply, please send your resume and a brief description of your moving and leadership experience.
