Our Move Coordinator is our customer's advocate. They provide service support to our Corporate, Military and GSA account customers relocating for their respective organization. This individual works closely with our transferring customer to schedule and organize all aspects of their move. They interact very closely with several service areas within the organization, including Operations, Claims, Billing, and various other departments. They also work closely with our vendor network to ensure all required services are authorized and scheduled.

Specific responsibilities of this position:

  • Act as the transferee's main point of coordination for the movement of household goods;
  • Communicate with customer to coordinate move and to ensure the highest level of customer service and satisfaction;
  • Oversee all assigned moves from point of shipment acceptance to delivery. This includes monitoring and tracking coordination of all corporate moves with move suppliers from point of shipment acceptance to delivery;
  • Receive survey results and verifies all quoted services are in accordance with account policies;
  • Provide estimates to our accounts based upon survey of goods to be moved;
  • Work directly with Allied agency network on the scheduling of all moving services, critical needs and problem resolution. This includes working with agency network and all 3rd party service providers to ensure timely communication of transferee requested order fulfillment and change management;
  • Identify policy exceptions and works with the account for authorizations and other move details;
  • Assist with providing proper paperwork to ensure timely billing to client;

The successful candidate for this position will share the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required. Secondary education is preferred;
  • A minimum of 3 years of customer service experience is required;
  • Must be able to demonstrate previous successful experience performing the following key skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products. Knowledge and ability to use typical office equipment (PC, calculator, fax machine, etc.);
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills;
  • Good oral and written communications skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to handle heavy phone work;
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment;
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions.
