About Us:

Maryland Treatment Centers Inc., also known as Mountain Manor Treatment Centers- Emmitsburg provides a comprehensive continuum of treatment for persons with problems involving substance use. We feature specialty services for young adults and adults. Clinical programs include assessment, residential/inpatient, detoxification, day treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient substance abuse, dual diagnosis, mental health, special education and prevention services. Mountain Manor treatment programs are accredited by the Joint Commission (JCAHO).

Mountain Manor Emmitsburg is looking for a Full-Time Housekeeper.

Housekeeper
  • 4:30 AM - 12:30 PM (40 hours per week) Hours are Flexible
  • Prior hospital/healthcare experience needed)
Responsibilities:
  • The overall responsibility of the Housekeeper is the efficient and timely cleaning of patient rooms, staff offices, and community rooms according to a daily schedule.

  • Must be comfortable walking up and down 5 flights of stairs each shift

  • Frequent / strenuous physical activity (e.g. heavy lifting, sustained physical effort, extensive carrying, pushing / pulling, etc.)

  • Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue

Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years old
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Willing to train but would prefer 12+ months of experience as a housekeeper in a hospital or healthcare setting
Bonus Points:
  • Experience in a substance abuse or mental health setting
