Job description

Nationally recognized, Mount Nittany Health, has an exciting opportunity for a BC/BE, full time Gastroenterologist to join a thriving, two-physician, hospital-employed practice. Located in State College, Pennsylvania, Mount Nittany Health is a 260-bed, community-based, not-for-profit, health system. The current outpatient clinic is conveniently located 5 miles from the hospital s campus, and will be moving to a new state-of-the-art outpatient medical center slated to open in Spring 2024! The new outpatient office will be located adjacent to a new Endoscopy Center where the majority of the procedures will be performed. The physician will be provided a robust recruitment package.

The Position:

  • Brand new state-of-the-art GI clinic opening in Spring 2024 that will consist of 9 exams rooms!
  • First and only Endoscopy Suite opened in Spring 2024 Provation equipment
  • 2 Gastroenterologists
  • Very experienced APP s ( 2 PA-C s and 1 NP)
  • Collegial team environment and excellent support staff
  • 3 days of IP (hospital) 2 days of OP (clinic)
  • Office hours: M-F; 8 a.m. -5 p.m.
  • Shared call is 1:6 with two other GI groups- Penn State Health and Geisinger
  • EMR: Epic

Compensation Package:

  • Competitive base salary + wRVU production incentive
  • CME allowance
  • Sign-on bonus - $100K
  • Paid malpractice coverage
