A family-owned and operated business that has been a trusted leader in the lumber manufacturing industry for over 31 years is seeking a skilled Weinig Moulder Operator to lead operations in a crucial division. Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain Weinig moulders to produce precision-milled lumber products.
  • Adjust cutting heads, feed speeds, and tooling to meet quality and production specifications.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company and customer requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the moulder and troubleshoot mechanical or performance issues.
  • Train and mentor team members on machine operation, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Monitor workflow and coordinate with other departments to optimize production efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
  • Track production metrics and machine performance, reporting any issues to management.
  • Assist with tool changes and knife grinding as necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience operating Weinig moulders or similar precision woodworking machines.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
