Job Description

At Motorola Solutions, everything starts with our people. We are seeking a Sr. Account Manager to serve as the primary sales architect for high-value strategic accounts, driving deep penetration of our safety and security ecosystem. In this role, you will scale regional performance by acting as a force multiplier for our sales channel, providing field-based tactical support on high-complexity deals, and executing targeted market expansion campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Force Multiplication & Strategic Acumen

  • Scale regional performance by empowering Channel Sales Executives (CSEs), Channel Account Managers (CAMs), and partners with technical sales tools, market intelligence, and competitive win themes

  • Develop standardized Strategic Alliance partnership presentations and sales tools outlining the value proposition within partner enterprises

  • Deliver comprehensive product and sales training to assigned accounts to ensure clear understanding of application deployment, while feeding customer feedback to engineering to help guide product improvements

Strategic Opportunity Capture & Direct Account Leadership

  • Provide tactical field support for high-complexity, "Must-Win" Video Security & Access Control ecosystem opportunities

  • Serve as the primary sales architect for high-value strategic accounts, creating and executing structured business plans to expand revenue pipelines

  • Establish and nurture executive-level relationships, oversee proposal generation, and accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Market Expansion

  • Execute targeted regional campaigns, C-suite networking events, and reference-site development to accelerate new account introductions

  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Team members to identify new market opportunities, strategic alliances, and aligned business objectives

  • Identify key surveillance market influencers, establish direct contact, and demonstrate the operational superiority of our solutions

Job Requirements

Technical Expertise

  • Technical Acumen to demonstrate and articulate physical security, video security, and access control solutions to technical and executive audiences

  • Revenue Forecasting to accurately predict sales pipelines on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

  • Professional Experience

  • Channel Strategy Execution to drive collaborative go-to-market initiatives with Channel Sales Executives, Channel Account Managers, and partner networks

  • Education Vertical Engagement to successfully position and sell security solutions into educational institutions

  • C-Suite Leadership to cultivate executive relationships, negotiate sales terms, and oversee complex proposal processes

  • Regional Travel Mobility to travel by air and car within the assigned territory (Florida/Georgia region) as required

  • Experience selling broader physical security solutions is a plus

Target Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000
