Job description

Cape Fox Federal Integrators is seeking an experienced Basic Instructor (Motorcycle Safety Foundation - MSF certified RiderCoach) to teach part-time on weekdays and occasional weekends. The Army Traffic Safety Training Program (ATSTP) Basic Instructor is responsible for delivering required training curricula in accordance with all applicable standards and guidelines. Delivery of training includes all actions required for preparation of students, classrooms, materials, and equipment.

The Basic Instructor is responsible for the program training and supervision of all other students during training. employee shall conform to standards of conduct and code of ethics, which are consistent with those applicable to government employees as provided in the joint ethics regulation 5500.7.R.Incumbent shall present a neat and professional appearance Certified as proficient in conduct of Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF RiderCoach) and Army Traffic Safety Training Program (ATSTP) approved Programs of Instruction to standard Coordinate all training with the Installation Safety Office, other instructors and the Area Manager as required Secure, maintain and be responsible for assigned CFFI and/or Government Furnished Equipment Basic Instructor may be the primary hand receipt holder for CFFI property at their installation Perform operational checks and preventive maintenance to maintain equipment in proper working order Initiate and follow up on parts/supplies orders with Area Managers approval Responsible for adherence to company standard operating procedures (SOP). May be required to transport materials and supplies to ensure operational readiness Must possess the ability and knowledge to make minor repairs to CFFI equipment as identified in the equipment owner's manual and CFFI ATSTP Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Physical Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Must be able to stand and walk on a motorcycle training range for an 8-hour period. Must be able to ride a motorcycle in the demonstration of riding exercises. Ability to tolerate extremes of weather.

Safety Ensures adherence to all company safety rules and SOPs in area of responsibility. Rectifies unsafe actions and/or conditions immediately. Participates in maintaining safe work environment by sharing and participating in all safety related meetings, training, etc.

Qualifications Applicants must possess a high school diploma and the required motorcycle safety training certification. Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail. MSF RiderCoach Certification or certification of your local state program.

Self-motivated with minimal oversight necessary. Computer skills including Microsoft Office. Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

Travel may be required.Physical Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk on a motorcycle training range for an 8-hour period. Must be able to ride a motorcycle in the demonstration of riding exercises
