Harley-Davidson of Bloomington is looking to hire an experienced Motorcycle technician to join our growing team! We offer excellent compensation with growth potential and a pleasant working environment. Work week is Tuesday thru Saturday (Saturday is non-negotiable)

Requirements of the Motorcycle Technician/Mechanic:

  • Motorcycle endorsement: 1 year and current license
  • Formal training program or equivalent work experience
  • Basic and special tools to properly diagnose and service our products
  • Ability to effectively perform repairs properly the first time

Responsibilities for Motorcycle Technician:

  • Request parts for the job as early as possible when needs become known
  • Perform service, repair, and customization work in accordance to factory standards
  • Complete quality repair work within the outlined time period
  • Maintain productivity (time spent working on billable jobs) as close to 100% as possible.
  • Notify management of work needed or any delays in expected completion as soon as they become known so that customers may be contacted and notified
  • Communicate with service advisor, and documenting repair work appropriately
  • Test riding to ensure repair is complete and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain knowledge base through training and industry readings
  • Keep work area clean and stay professional
