Indian Motorcycle of Lafayette is seeking a motivated and customerfocused Sales Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will help customers find the right motorcycle and accessories to match their lifestyle, riding experience, and goals. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, working with iconic brands, and delivering an exceptional buying experience.

Successful Sales Consultants are passionate about motorcycles, confident communicators, and driven to exceed customer expectations while meeting personal and dealership sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage customers in a professional, welcoming manner
  • Guide customers through the motorcycle purchasing process from initial contact to delivery
  • Build strong relationships to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate motorcycles, accessories, and protection products
  • Present product features, benefits, pricing, and promotions clearly and accurately
  • Coordinate test rides, paperwork, and vehicle delivery with internal teams
  • Partner with Finance, Parts, and Service to ensure a smooth and seamless customer experience
  • Follow up with customers to build longterm relationships and repeat business
  • Maintain knowledge of current inventory, manufacturer programs, and dealership offerings
  • Meet or exceed individual and dealership sales goals while upholding Tom Wood values

Qualifications

  • Previous sales or customerfacing experience preferred
  • Passion for motorcycles or the powersports industry strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Selfmotivated, goaloriented, and comfortable working in a fastpaced environment
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
