FREIGHT BROKER SALES REPRESENTATIVE – AUTO HAULING

Location: Scottsdale / Phoenix Metro (On-site)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Quest is conducting a confidential search for a driven, customer-focused Freight Broker Sales Representative specializing in Auto Hauling and domestic vehicle transport. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at relationship-building, and understands the unique dynamics of the automotive logistics industry. The position owns the full sales and execution lifecycle—from new business development through shipment delivery—while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Acquisition & Sales Growth

  • Make outbound calls and manage inbound inquiries from customers seeking auto transport services
  • Establish and onboard new client accounts within the automotive transport sector
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of dealerships, auctions, rental fleets, relocators, and other auto-related customers
  • Provide accurate and competitive pricing for vehicle shipments across multiple equipment types (open, enclosed, multi-car, etc.)
  • Close new business and grow repeat and contract accounts

    Account Management & Retention

  • Retain and expand existing customer accounts through consistent, reliable service
  • Educate customers on transport processes, timelines, and preparation requirements
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by addressing customer questions and managing expectations

    Operations & Shipment Coordination

  • Process and manage shipment orders for cars, trucks, motorcycles, machinery, and other vehicles within the U.S.
  • Coordinate pickup, delivery, routing, and scheduling to ensure on-time execution
  • Build and manage relationships with auto hauling carriers nationwide
  • Verify carrier insurance, safety, and compliance standards
  • Provide proactive shipment updates throughout the transport lifecycle

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with internal operations teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Escalate and resolve service issues, delays, or exceptions professionally and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and TMS platforms

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of freight brokerage or logistics sales experience (auto hauling preferred)
  • Proven ability to source, secure, and grow customer accounts
  • Strong understanding of automotive transport equipment, pricing, and seasonal market conditions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills
  • High attention to detail with a customer-centric mindset
  • Proficiency with CRM and TMS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, McLeod, Super Dispatch) and Microsoft Office

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Established book of auto hauling business or strong industry relationships
  • Experience with both open and enclosed auto transport
  • Familiarity with dealership, auction, and fleet vehicle movement workflows
