Job description

ProTrade is looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join a team that values skill, safety, and hard work. If you know your way around industrial electrical systems and take pride in doing the job right, we want to hear from you.

This role calls for someone who can work independently, troubleshoot on the fly, and keep projects moving safely and efficiently from start to finish.

What You'll Do

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, equipment, and machinery
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs with minimal downtime
  • Ensure all work meets code requirements and safety standards
  • Work with conduit, wiring, motor controls, PLCs, and industrial control systems
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems at pump stations, including motor starters, VFDs, and control panels
  • Wire and calibrate level sensors, flow meters, and pressure transducers
  • Perform electrical maintenance on pump motors, including motor testing and megohm (insulation resistance) readings
  • Troubleshoot and repair SCADA and telemetry equipment used for remote pump station monitoring
  • Respond to emergency call-outs for pump station outages or equipment failures
  • Collaborate with other trades and team members on job sites

What You Bring

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Experience with motor controls, PLCs, and industrial equipment
  • Pump station or water/wastewater facility experience a plus
