Motion Menders Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our team, providing exceptional home care services to patients in Savannah, Georgia. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for guiding patients on their path to recovery, enhancing their mobility, and helping them improve their overall quality of life.

Our clinic, located in the heart of Savannah, specializes in orthopedic outpatient care and incorporates cutting-edge rehabilitation techniques. Our mission is to empower patients to regain their motion and function effectively while minimizing the use of prescription drugs through effective non-surgical options.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite, where you will collaborate closely with a team of two physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) within a modern facility that spans 5,000 square feet. Our state-of-the-art therapeutic space is designed to cater to athletes and active individuals, allowing you to utilize a range of modalities for tailored patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient needs and establish personalized treatment goals to guide their rehabilitation journey.
  • Manage a patient load of 2-3 individuals per hour, ensuring each receives focused and effective therapy.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities to create comprehensive care plans aimed at improving range of motion and mobility.
  • Engage with patients to encourage active participation in their treatment, inspiring them to achieve optimal functional levels.
  • Implement fitness and wellness regimens tailored to each patient's requirements, enhancing their physical resilience.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care services using EMR software, including WebPT, to track progress and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals as needed to enrich patient care and experience.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on patient improvement, adapting care strategies when necessary to ensure ongoing progress.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and other mobility-related challenges. The role requires a therapist who can develop familiar relationships with patients in a home care context, addressing both their physical and emotional needs as they navigate their recovery.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active State Physical Therapist License with no pending board action or disciplinary issues.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
  • Experience using EMR systems, with preference for WebPT knowledge.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient care is highly desired.
  • Exposure to home care environments and a strong understanding of individualized treatment protocols for patients in their homes.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
