Work Environment

As part of a cohesive team consisting of two other physical therapists and a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will provide onsite services directly in patients' homes. This unique setting allows for personalized, one-on-one engagement with patients, ensuring that they receive continuous support throughout their recovery process. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the needs and goals of each patient to formulate and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring timely and high-quality care for each individual.
  • Utilize manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities to improve patients' range of motion, mobility, strength, and overall function.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, pain management strategies, and rehabilitation protocols to promote their independence and recovery progress.
  • Collaborate with other medical specialists, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide integrated care solutions.
  • Track patient progress through systematic documentation and analysis of treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary.
  • Inspire and motivate patients to achieve their best functional outcomes, emphasizing the importance of a proactive approach to wellness.
  • Adhere to established protocols for care delivery, ensuring compliance with health regulations and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes athletes recovering from injuries, post-operative patients, and individuals experiencing chronic pain or mobility issues. You will cater to a range of orthopedic conditions, providing specialized intervention strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs. Your expertise will be key in addressing not only physical but also emotional aspects of recovery, empowering patients to take an active role in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid and active Physical Therapist License in the state of Georgia, with no disciplinary action on your record.
  • Strong manual therapy skills and knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to maintain accurate records of patient care.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient care, particularly in a home care setting.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
