Work Environment

The work environment at Motion Menders Therapy is characterized by teamwork and a commitment to continuous improvement. You'll collaborate closely with a team consisting of two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) to deliver exceptional care. Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and address each patient's unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
  • Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, providing focused and individualized attention to each patient.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient's condition.
  • Promote patient education concerning mobility and wellness to foster independence and self-efficacy.
  • Engage in manual therapy techniques and employ exercise prescriptions to enhance range of motion.
  • Advocate for holistic care, encouraging the reduction of prescription medication use through evidence-based, non-surgical interventions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately to track advancements in therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapist will primarily serve a diverse patient population seeking rehabilitation services for orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-surgical recovery. We aim to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers patients to achieve their physical goals and return to their daily routines or athletic pursuits with confidence.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current state Physical Therapist License in Florida, free from board actions or disciplinary actions.
  • Strong manual therapy skills are essential for effective patient treatment.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, is required for patient documentation.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in orthopedic outpatient care is highly desirable.
  • Previous engagement in team-oriented rehabilitation settings or clinics will be beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits
