Media Design - Video & Multimedia Specialist Position
We are seeking a video & multimedia professional to join a talented group of media design and marketing professionals in support of the firm's business development and internal communication efforts. The ideal candidate possesses knowledge and experience in both filming and editing digital media. Candidates with experience in photography, videography and graphic design are preferred.
Video & Multimedia Specialist Position:
The Video & Multimedia Specialist role is responsible for planning, filming and editing videos to be used for a variety of projects such as internal communication, marketing, and promoting for a wide variety of subjects. We are looking for an organized and creative individual to work with our media design team to plan, film and edit video content according to client specifications while also aligning to Whiting-Turner's brand, image and culture.
This position encompasses several varied activities, including:
• Coordinating pre-production tasks with the project team
• Filming videos on set or on location
• Editing and finalizing collected footage
• Enhancing video content with motion graphics, music, SFX, etc.
• Collecting, editing, organizing and maintaining our asset libraries
• Promoting and maintaining our brand identity
• Project pursuit & active project support efforts
• Internal projects and support
• Project documentation
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects & Photoshop (Adobe Creative Suite proficiency preferred)
• Proficiency with camera equipment (DSLRs, Stabilization, Audio & Lighting)
• Excellent computer literacy (Windows Platform and Microsoft O365 Applications)
The successful candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in Film & Media Studies (or a related field) and is proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro while having the various technical skills required for creating video.
