  • Translate brand strategy into clear, scalable design systems including typography, color, layout, iconography, and graphic elements.
  • Build flexible toolkits and templates that enable consistency across teams, channels, and partners.

  • Concept and design brand-forward creative across marketing, retail, and owned channels-translating strategy into elevated, cohesive work that resonates with modern families.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to bring campaigns to life while maintaining a high bar for craft, consistency, and attention to detail across all deliverables.

20%: Laydown photography & packaging design
  • Partner with Art Directors and photography teams to concept and execute laydown photography that aligns with brand standards.
  • Provide direction on composition, styling and prop usage to ensure a cohesive brand look and feel.
  • Design and evolve packaging systems that reflect the Carter's brand identity and stand out in retail environments.
  • Ensure packaging and photography work together seamlessly as part of a holistic brand experience.

10%: Motion & animation
  • Bring the brand to life through thoughtful, simple motion design across digital touchpoints.
  • Create animations for social, digital marketing, presentations, and brand moments.
  • Ensure motion aligns with and enhances the overall brand identity-not just decorates it.

WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:

  • Clear communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to take and apply creative direction effectively.
  • Collaborative, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Foundational motion/animation skills (e.g., After Effects, Figma motion, or similar tools).

Preferred skills and experience:
