Job description

Marketing Graphic Designer
Responsible for creating and producing high-quality visual materials that support Tuacahn's marketing, advertising, and branding efforts across all print and digital platforms. Works closely with the Marketing team to design compelling creative assets that promote performances, events, educational programs, and other initiatives while maintaining a consistent brand identity. Ensures projects are completed accurately, on schedule, and according to established brand standards.
Responsibilities include:
  • Design and produce creative assets for print and digital advertising campaigns.
  • Create graphics and layouts for email marketing campaigns.
  • Design social media graphics and other digital content.
  • Design billboards, posters, banners, rack cards, brochures, postcards, playbills, programs, signage, and other printed materials.
  • Create digital advertisements for websites, display advertising, streaming platforms, and other online marketing channels.
  • Perform typesetting and layout for promotional materials, publications, and advertisements while ensuring accuracy and readability.
  • Prepare print-ready files according to vendor specifications.
  • Resize, adapt, and version artwork for multiple formats and platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop creative concepts that support marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Ensure all creative materials are consistent with Tuacahn's brand standards and visual identity.
  • Maintain organized project files and archives of creative assets.
  • Manage projects, tasks, revisions, and deadlines using Asana (project management software).
  • Coordinate with printers, vendors, media partners, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
  • Assist with photo editing, image retouching, and basic digital asset management.
  • Stay current with graphic design trends, software updates, and best practices.
  • Assist other departments with graphic design needs as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of professional graphic design experience preferred.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
  • Experience designing for both print and digital media.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience with typesetting and preparing files for commercial printing.
  • Knowledge of current digital advertising specifications and social media design best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to receive feedback and make revisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Photography, illustration, motion graphics, or basic video editing experience is a plus.

Salary: Starting at $55,000+ based on experience.
