Job description

About ACQ Media
ACQ Media is the in-house media engine behind Acquisition.com and its portfolio of brands led by Alex Hormozi, Leila Hormozi, and Sharran Srivatsaa.
Our mission is to build the leading business media organization in the world by 2030.
We produce high-performance long-form series, podcasts, and daily social content that reach millions of people around the globe. Our content is not vanity media; it is designed to drive measurable reach, deepen brand influence, and create downstream business impact across the entire Acquisition.com ecosystem.
We operate like a studio, not a startup content team. That means structured workflows, batch production, clear performance metrics, and an aggressive commitment to innovation, especially through AI-native production systems.
We are building a repeatable content machine that compounds: more output, higher quality, faster iteration, stronger monetization, and deeper brand equity over time.
If you're joining ACQ Media, you're not here to just make content. You're here to help build a media powerhouse.
Role
The Motion Designer is the animation and motion execution engine behind ACQ Media's video and social content output across all brands and platforms.
This role executes on:
  • Designing and animating motion graphics, kinetic typography, and branded transitions for long-form and short-form video content
  • Building and maintaining the motion design system, animation templates, and visual standards across all ACQ Media brands
  • On-screen graphics, lower thirds, animated title treatments, episodic opens/closes, bumpers, etc.
  • Delivery within a design-to-production handoff pipeline that integrates cleanly into editor timelines

You are not just making things move.
You are building and protecting a scalable motion identity for a multi-brand media company - one that must remain consistent across dozens of pieces of content per week, across multiple platforms, and across multiple personalities.
This role requires both executional speed and animation discipline. High volume is the baseline. High quality is non-negotiable.
This role is remote and reports directly to Vegas-based Director of Art & Design, preferably on PST/MST.
Responsibilities
1. Motion Design System & Brand Standards
  • Maintain and evolve the motion design language for each brand (Alex, Leila, Sharran, ACQ) - including timing, easing, color, and typographic animation standards
  • Build and manage template libraries for animated lower thirds, title cards, social graphics, bumpers, and episodic title treatments in After Effects
  • Ensure motion consistency across all output - every animated asset should be immediately identifiable as part of its brand
  • Document motion standards in brand guides and animation style references
  • Collaborate with the broader media team to ensure motion assets are cohesive with captured footage and overall visual identity guidelines

2. Video Motion Graphics & Post-Production Support
  • Create motion graphics, animated text treatments, kinetic typography, and branded transitions for long-form YouTube content and social clips
  • Design and animate episodic opens, closes, chapter cards, and segment transitions that elevate production value across all series
  • Build motion assets that integrate cleanly into editor timelines in Premiere Pro with minimal revision cycles
  • Contribute to a shared motion asset library that accelerates post-production output across the team

3. Social Motion Assets
  • Design and animate platform-native motion assets (animated covers, story templates, promo graphics, looping visuals) for Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube
  • Produce short-form motion pieces optimized for Reels, Shorts, and TikTok formats
  • Maintain awareness of platform-specific motion specs, aspect ratios, and safe zones to ensure pixel-perfect delivery

4. Workflow Systems & Asset Management
  • Maintain an organized, tagged, and searchable motion asset library
  • Apply file naming conventions and version control across all motion output
  • Deliver assets in correct formats, frame rates, resolutions, and codec specs for each platform and use case - zero ambiguity for the teams receiving them
  • Leverage AI tools and motion automation (expressions, scripts, plugins) to increase output speed without sacrificing quality

5. Quality Control & Iteration
  • Proactively catch and correct motion inconsistencies, quality drifts, or brand misalignments before they reach post-production
  • Use performance data to drive motion design decisions, not just aesthetic preference
  • Continuously raise the animation bar - good enough is not the standard
Requirements
  • 4+ years of motion design experience in a media, agency, or content production environment
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong motion craft, typographic animation, and high-volume output
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro; strong working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Deep understanding of animation principles: timing, easing, anticipation, visual hierarchy in motion
  • Experience designing and animating lower thirds, title treatments, bumpers, and episodic graphics for video content
  • Familiarity with platform-specific motion requirements across YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X
  • Proficiency with After Effects expressions and/or scripting (GSAP, ExtendScript)
  • Systems-oriented mindset - you build animation templates and repeatable processes, not one-offs
  • Comfortable working within structured production environments (Monday.com, shared asset libraries, Frame.io, batch production calendars)
  • Familiarity with AI motion and design tools (Hera, RunwayML, Adobe Firefly, or equivalent) and a drive to integrate them into daily workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver on tight deadlines without quality degradation
Results
  • All brands have a clearly documented, consistently applied motion identity
  • Motion assets are delivered on time, at spec, and require minimal revision from post-production and social teams
  • Scalable animation template library reducing motion turnaround time across all internal brands
  • Motion graphics and social visuals are indistinguishable in quality from prestige, top-tier media brands
  • Zero motion design-related production delays
  • AI and automation tools are embedded into the motion workflow, compounding output capacity without adding headcount
  • The motion design identity of ACQ Media becomes a recognizable, ownable visual asset in the business media space
Location
  • Las Vegas, NV (Remote)
  • Support for relocation to Las Vegas can be provided
  • Some light travel may be required
Compensation
  • $80,000-90,000 base salary
  • The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills, and expertise. This range is only inclusive of base salary, not benefits (more details below).
Benefits:
We offer a comprehensive, evolving benefits package designed to support your health, family, and wellbeing. Some key offerings:
  • Flexible Unlimited Paid Time Off and Company-wide Holidays

    • $1,950 annual Employer HSA contribution
