Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our expansive 5,000 square foot rehabilitation center, designed to support a wide range of therapeutic interventions. Our facility is replete with modern equipment and resources tailored for orthopedic rehabilitation, including advanced motion analysis tools and therapeutic modalities. You will join a close-knit team comprising two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all focused on creating a welcoming and effective healing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to understand patients' goals, limitations, and functional abilities, thereby establishing a tailored treatment plan.
  • Deliver high-quality rehabilitation services through one-on-one patient interactions, managing a caseload that allows for in-depth care with an average of one patient treated per hour.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques to improve range of motion and functional mobility.
  • Develop and adapt holistic care plans that integrate multiple treatment modalities, utilizing individual fitness and wellness protocols specific to each patient's needs.
  • Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting treatment strategies as needed and maintaining thorough and accurate documentation within our EMR system, preferably WebPT.
  • Engage patients in their recovery journey, providing motivation and education on lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and promote long-term wellness.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care and ensure the best possible recovery outcomes.
  • Evaluate outcomes to ensure effective treatments, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and learning.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Must possess a valid Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • The ideal candidate will have a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against their license.
  • Demonstrable expertise in manual therapy techniques and a history of implementing successful exercise protocols.
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to document patient interactions and treatment plans efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong background in developing tailored rehabilitation programs for post-operative patients or those with chronic pain conditions.
  • Experience with fitness and wellness programming to support patient recovery and long-term health maintenance.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
