This full-time role involves working directly with patients to facilitate their journey toward restored mobility and physical function. Our facility is a state-of-the-art, 5,000 square feet oasis designed for rehabilitation, particularly for athletes and active individuals seeking specialized care. We pride ourselves on a team-oriented atmosphere that encourages collaboration among our dedicated staff and reflects our mission to provide high-quality physical therapy services. We accept a variety of private health insurance providers, ensuring comprehensive care solutions for our patients.

Work Environment

The role is an onsite position at our modern outpatient clinic in Port Saint Lucie, where you will be part of a close-knit team consisting of two other physical therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). Your working hours will be structured Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment while ensuring ample time for patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly assess patient needs, setting realistic goals and objectives tailored to each individual.
  • Manage a patient caseload, typically seeing 2-3 patients per hour, facilitating therapeutic interventions that effectively enhance mobility and functional abilities.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to develop comprehensive care plans that integrate various therapeutic modalities.
  • Implement individualized fitness and wellness regimens aimed at improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on systematic analysis of treatment outcomes.
  • Engage in collaborative discussions with medical specialists to provide integrated care solutions tailored for each patient’s rehabilitation.
  • Advocate for non-surgical treatment options, helping patients to manage pain and regain mobility while minimizing reliance on prescription medications.
  • Create a supportive and motivational environment that inspires patients to push their limits during treatment sessions.
  • Document and maintain detailed records of patient assessments and treatment interventions using EMR software such as WebPT.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population, including athletes at all competitive levels, weekend warriors, and individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
  • A valid State Physical Therapist License, with no ongoing disciplinary actions.
  • Strong manual therapy skills and familiarity with orthopedic practices.
  • Proficient in using EMR systems, especially WebPT.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
