Atlantic Motion Rehab & Wellness in Lacey, Washington, is excited to offer a full-time opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient clinic. This role focuses on delivering high-quality rehabilitation services primarily to patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries and post-surgical conditions. As part of our orthopedic outpatient team, you will work within a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility designed to facilitate effective healing. The clinic operates from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, creating a structured yet dynamic schedule that allows for focused patient engagement. This onsite role offers the chance to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including orthopedic surgeons, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Comprehensive Patient Assessments: Conduct in-depth evaluations of musculoskeletal conditions using advanced diagnostic techniques, including physical exams and medical history analysis, to craft tailored treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Apply a variety of hands-on therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, strengthening exercises, and functional training, designed to alleviate pain, enhance mobility, and restore functional capabilities.
• Patient Education: Guide patients through their recovery process by educating them on their specific conditions, rehabilitation techniques, and injury prevention strategies, promoting self-management and empowerment.
• Collaborative Care: Actively engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Progress Monitoring and Documentation: Keep thorough and accurate records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress, and modify interventions based on ongoing evaluations to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Advanced Modalities and Technology: Leverage cutting-edge technology and modalities, such as therapeutic ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to support recovery and improve rehabilitation efficacy.
• Mentoring and Team Support: Contribute to a positive team environment through regular case discussions, mentorship of less experienced therapists, and participation in continuing education initiatives.

This position primarily involves working with patients dealing with a range of orthopedic conditions, including sports-related injuries, post-operative recovery, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will help individuals from various backgrounds and age groups return to their daily activities and improve their overall function.

• Education: Candidates must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Eligibility for a current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Washington is essential.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred; however, new graduates with substantial clinical internship experience are encouraged to apply.
• Specialized Skills: Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, post-surgical rehabilitation protocols, sports medicine practices, or treatment of musculoskeletal conditions is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, empathy, and patience skills are vital for guiding patients through their recovery journeys.
• Team Player: Candidates should demonstrate an ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team structure.

Experience with the latest therapeutic equipment and technologies, along with a solid foundation in orthopedic physical therapy techniques, will set candidates apart. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is also advantageous.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefits package includes performance bonuses, a generous CEU allowance for professional development, and health insurance options to promote your well-being.
