Position Overview:
MOT Charter School is a small, mission-driven community dedicated to providing a high-quality learning experience for every student. As a classroom para-professional, you will work closely with a special education teacher to deliver individualized, one-to-one support while assisting classroom teachers in creating an engaging and effective learning environment.
GENERAL performance expectations
  • Understand and support the mission and vision of the MOT Charter School.
  • Maintain a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to changing needs and situations.
  • Utilize online resources for instruction and communication.
  • Serve as a positive role model for students and professionals alike.
  • Work cooperatively with other faculty, staff, and administrators to support the school's objectives.

  • Develop and maintain positive relations within the school community, as well as with stakeholders outside the school community.

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience in a relevant field
  • Hold or be eligible for Para Certification
