Responsibilities
Assist with preparation and embalming of human remains following established procedures and safety protocols
Support funeral planning by preparing caskets, vaults, and arranging transportation logistics
Participate in restorative art techniques to ensure respectful presentation of the deceased
Maintain proper documentation of all procedures and adhere to legal and ethical standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely setup of funeral services and coordination with families
Uphold sanitation standards by cleaning and disinfecting mortuary equipment, tools, and workspaces
Engage in ongoing learning about mortuary science practices, laws, and industry regulations
Experience
Currently enrolled in or looking to enroll in an accredited mortuary science or funeral service program or related field
