D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Sales System Administrator in the Sales & Marketing Department. The right candidate will ensure the integrity of the information transfers between JD Edwards and DHI Sales software.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Ensure sales contract information is accurate prior to allowing it to flow into JD Edwards
  • Attach lot, plans, and options within DHI Sales software
  • Ensure sales contract audit findings are addressed and completed prior to the closing of the sale
  • Attach disclosures, feature sheets, floorplans, notices and government agency builder documents in DHI Sales
  • Set up projects, mortgage information, and other project related information within DHI Sales
  • Instruct Sales Managers and Sales Representative on how to complete specific entries in DHI Sales
  • Troubleshoot software issues with Sales and Purchasing personnel, and the DHI Sales Support Team
  • Work with the Sales Trainer to create DHI Sales written processes
  • Create a Sales Department backlog file for starting projects with existing sales
  • Coordinate between other departments as needed
  • Perform basic administrative tasks as needed
  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Two-three years of related experience and/or training
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
