Job description

Alliance Catholic Credit Union is seeking an exceptional and experienced Mortgage Consultant who thrives in a well-organized, fast-paced, and multi-task driven environment. This position will report directly to the VP of Lending.
The ideal candidate:
  • Drive mortgage loan growth by originating residential mortgage loans, developing community and business referral relationships, and delivering superior member experience.
  • Responsible for prospecting, pre-qualifying applicants, managing loan pipelines, and guiding members through the mortgage process from application through closing.
  • Generate mortgage loan volume through consultative sales activities for purchase, refinance, and home equity lending opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with real estate professionals, builders, financial advisors, and other business partners to support mortgage loan growth.
  • Partner with referral sources to identify prospective borrowers and recommend appropriate mortgage solutions based on creditworthiness, income, assets, property value, and lending guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships through exceptional service and proactive communication.
  • Represent the Credit Union at community events, networking functions, and industry activities to promote mortgage products and services.
  • Maintain all required licensing, registration, and continuing education requirements, including NMLS requirements.
A successful candidate will be an approachable team player with a personable and professional demeanor, a desire to learn and driven to achieve outstanding results---accurately and efficiently. We seek candidates with a Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of 5 years of mortgage lending or origination experience, NMLS license, and an in-depth knowledge of mortgage products, industry regulations, and financial analysis.
