Your Impact

As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you'll help Michigan families achieve homeownership while creating lasting relationships within your community.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building relationships with members, Realtors, builders, and referral sources.
  • Identifying mortgage solutions that meet members' financial needs.
  • Educating borrowers on mortgage programs and lending options.
  • Managing applications from initial inquiry through closing.
  • Providing exceptional member service throughout the lending process.
  • Remaining informed on market conditions and industry regulations.
Qualified Candidates Will Have
  • One year of mortgage origination experience OR two years of experience in mortgage processing, underwriting, or closing.
  • Experience managing and processing mortgage files.
  • Knowledge of FNMA, FHA, USDA, MSHDA, and DU technology.
  • Active NMLS Registration
  • Strong communication, sales, and relationship-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Associate Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Must be bondable.
