Georgia Banking Company is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven VP, Mortgage Sales Manager to lead and grow an established team of Mortgage Loan Originators. This role is ideal for a proven mortgage leader with strong production experience, a passion for coaching, and the ability to drive performance within an existing market.


As a VP, Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day sales activity, coaching and developing Loan Officers, and driving production through both individual contribution and team success. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on execution, accountability, and delivering a high-quality customer and referral partner experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and coach a team of Mortgage Loan Originators to achieve individual and team production goals
  • Drive consistent loan production through active pipeline management, performance tracking, and accountability
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development to improve sales effectiveness, product knowledge, and customer experience
  • Maintain and expand relationships with realtors, builders, and referral partners alongside the team
  • Personally originate mortgage loans while contributing to overall team production
  • Partner with operations, underwriting, and secondary teams to ensure efficient and compliant loan processing and closings
  • Monitor pipeline health, conversion ratios, and overall team performance metrics
  • Reinforce sales discipline, including CRM usage, call activity, follow-up, and referral generation
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state mortgage lending regulations and company policies
  • Stay current on loan products, market trends, and competitive positioning


Requirements

  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (NMLS) License in the state of Georgia (required)
