• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients.
• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and proactive self-care strategies to enhance their understanding and foster engagement in the healing process.
• Monitor and track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to respond to evolving needs and circumstances.
• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to refine therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in team case consultations, collaborative meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.
• Advocate for clients by addressing mental health stigma and actively working to meet the diverse needs of those we serve.

Our practice primarily focuses on individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our clients often include homeless individuals, refugees, victims of domestic abuse, and others who face significant life challenges. Your role as an LMFT will significantly impact their recovery journey, empowering them with the tools needed to reclaim their mental health and improve their quality of life.

• Possession of an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
• A compassionate approach with a profound ability to empathize with clients’ experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, supported by the ability to navigate administrative tasks efficiently.

• Experience working with diverse populations, particularly those from marginalized backgrounds.
• Prior experience with evidence-based practices in the treatment of mood disorders.
• Background in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.
• Familiarity with integrated care models and interdisciplinary teamwork.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
