About this Opportunity:
As a Motioneer, you will be a part of a team that serves to evaluate and provide solutions for the many extraordinary requests that come into our company. A Motioneer will be cross trained on multiple electro-mechanical disciplines and technologies in order to evaluate new technologies and their application to potential markets. This team will interact with our Sales, Product Management, and Engineering teams to help develop those solutions for our customers. This team will act as a "conduit" between our highly trained mechanical, fluids, and electrical engineering teams to ensure projects start on the right path. This position reports to the Advanced Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in conjunction with the Morrell sales team to find mechanical application opportunities
  • Develop electro-mechanical, proposals and quotations for general automation, aerospace, automotive and various other market segments
  • Develop Bosch conveyor and mechatronic proposals and quotations per customer requirements and specifications
  • Generate a Bill of Material for each project based on the sizing and selection of components
  • Coordinate design review meetings between the customer, sales, Morrell mechanical engineering and Stegner Controls engineering groups
  • Attend training, which may potentially be out of town, for Bosch Rexroth as well as other product lines deemed necessary to support customer needs
  • Understanding of machines in a variety of applications and market segments
  • Builds and maintains a business relationship with clients by providing prompt and accurate service to promote customer loyalty
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
  • Foster a positive team environment by assisting co-workers
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Location:
Evolution Motion Solutions is headquartered in Farmers Branch, TX with additional offices in TX, UT, AL, AZ, MT, OK, MA, MI IN, IL, OH and Canada. This position will be based out of our Auburn Hills, MI facility.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Electrical, mechanical technical or vocational training is a plus

EXPERIENCE:
  • 1-5 years industry experience minimum
  • Strong background in mechatronics and motion controls
