Job description

Journeyman machinist with programming and setup skills.

Skilled CNC machinist with a fair knowledge of machining practices, being able to machine a product from print-to-part (cradle to grave).

Knowledge of Fanuc, Mazak controllers.

Attention to detail as you will be working on tight tolerance Aerospace parts.

U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to pass background check.

Mooney Industries is a small family run business in the west San Fernando Valley, founded in 1972 with a long history of manufacturing parts for manned space flight. Mooney does CNC machining of high strength alloys producing a variety of specialized components/parts for rocket engines. Mooney employs Mori Seiki VMC's with 4 & 5-axis capabilities, GF 5-axis vertical mill, Matsura horizontal mill, and Mazak turning centers, as well as a full complement of manual machines.
