Valley Veterinary Hospital, located in Oshkosh, WI, is a dynamic and expanding general practice renowned for its commitment to delivering top-notch care to small animals and their owners. We take pride in our progressive approach and well-equipped facilities, providing our veterinarians with the resources they need to focus solely on practicing medicine.
Our practice boasts advanced amenities including laser therapy, ultrasound, digital radiography, and a full idexx lab suite featuring Sedivue, complemented by efficient EzyVet computer software. With a supportive administrative team in place, our veterinarians can dedicate themselves entirely to patient care.
Requirements
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university
  • Licensure in good standing

Benefits
  • Work Schedule: 36-38 hours/week.
  • Salary: $150,000 base plus 20% percentage.
  • Insurance, Dues, Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package encompassing professional liability insurance, IRA with a 3% match, a health insurance stipend, DEA registration, and membership dues in esteemed organizations such as AVMA and AAHA. Additionally, we extend a personal and family pet care discount. Paid (major) holidays and 10 days of annual paid vacation are provided, with flexibility for additional time off through schedule adjustments.

Continuing Education:
  • We cover the cost of annual attendance at a national meeting ($2,000/year).
  • We offer a month-long specialty and surgical externship in Buffalo, covering housing, transportation, and other associated expenses.
