Job description

Nurse Practitioner

Location: San Antonio Metro Area
Work Locations: ZIP Codes 78237 and 78220
Start Date: ASAP upon offer
Pay: DOE (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday,7:45 AM–4:30 PM; must have flexibility to work some evenings as needed
Duration: Temporary through March 2027, with potential for extension

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a special project supporting employee health and case
management activities in the San Antonio area.


Under general direction, is responsible for performing professional health work functioning as a Nurse Practitioner. Provides primary and/or preventive health care services in a clinical occupational health setting for the San Antonio Metro Health Area. Performs a variety of functions which may include specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under physician protocols and supervision. Working conditions are in a clinical environment. Must be willing to comply with all OSHA regulations and current immunization policies. May exercise supervision over assigned staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with case management of uniformed employees placed on conditional, full, or alternative duty.
  • Serve as a liaison with Infection Control personnel at area hospitals and the public health authority’s epidemiologist.
  • Provide exposed personnel with timely information, appropriate immunization guidance, and referrals in accordance with current standards of care and applicable Texas regulations.
