Job description

Administrative Assistant

The job of Administrative Assistant is done for the purpose of providing secretarial support to the assigned Administrator; acting as liaison between the Administrator and other parties; and monitoring assigned programs and/or projects. Essential functions include attending meetings, compiling data, coordinating programs and activities, evaluating situations, maintaining documents and records, monitoring site activities, performing clerical functions, preparing written materials, processing documents, recording data, researching topics, and responding to inquiries. Other functions include assisting other personnel. Job requirements include mental, physical, and social requirements. Experience, education, and certifications include job-related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid Arizona DPS Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. Compensation details include non-exempt hourly pay, grade 114, and support for 11 month, 12 month short, or 12 month long work calendars.
