Job description

Title: Controller
Reports to: CEO
Works with: Physician Owners (Board of Directors), Director of Operations, Billing Manager, Accounts Payable, Administrative Assistants, Office Managers, Director of Marketing, Director of Human Resources, outside Accountants & financial institutions
  • Fosters and adheres to Montclair Radiology’s Core Values
  • Team oriented.
  • Prepares a complete financial statement monthly according to practice guidelines.
  • Provides department managers with detailed financial and management reports.
  • Reviews the general ledger and scheduled accounts. Notes any unusual entries and investigates.
  • Reviews the reconciliation of general ledger accounts with outside sources to ensure proper bank reconciliation, reserve accounts, accounts payable and integration with our billing systems.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable government finance regulations, including filing and/or maintaining of required forms for all licenses.
  • Ensures that all office personnel are using proper accounting procedures and maintaining accurate records and analyses and supervises the preparation of all information for timely monthly and year end closing.
  • Continually strives to improve data integrity and information reporting throughout the organization.
  • Preparation and/or supervision of payroll preparation
  • Attends managers meetings.
  • Other tasks as assigned related to any of the above and at the discretion
