Job description

  • Oversee all operational aspects of the station and optimize use of resources, equipment, and personnel
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate daily activities
  • Collaborate with airport management to maintain seamless station operations
  • Lead, manage, and motivate operational personnel
  • Develop and implement administrative and operational policies with upper management
  • Monitor and analyze operational and financial reports to identify improvement and profit-growth opportunities
  • Present recommendations for operational and capital improvements
  • Recommend capital expenditures and approve equipment, material, and supply requisitions within budget
  • Ensure compliance with corporate security programs, safety rules, TSA legislation, and governmental regulations
  • Conduct audits and maintain compliance with corporate policies and safety standards
  • Review and clarify site‑specific security plan implementation
  • Investigate and address internal and external complaints
  • Oversee supplier contract negotiations
  • Complete required training and monitor station staff training
  • Meet airline customer KPM objectives
  • Maintain a station management system focused on safety, security, quality, and employee satisfaction
Requirements
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate teams, with experience implementing operational policies
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, financial reports, and expenditure management
  • Familiarity with TSA regulations, airport security requirements, and governmental safety regulations
  • Ability to analyze operational data and make strategic recommendations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with station management systems and operational software
  • Strong understanding of safety, security, and compliance standards in aviation or logistics
  • Ability to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining safety and quality standards
  • Experience negotiating contracts with suppliers and vendors
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (preferred)
  • Two to five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and perform stated physical duties
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move objects, files, and documents up to 10 pounds
