Job Summary and Qualifications

The Monitor Technician is responsible for the equipment set up and continuous cardiac observation of telemetry patients at a centralized station. Our Telemetry Techs are passionate about ensuring an exceptional patient experience and committed to caring like family. Unlock your potential here! 


What you will do in this role:  


  • You will set up telemetry equipment for new admissions according to established procedures. 
  • You will interpret and document rhythm strips at regular intervals. 
  • You will report any cardiac arrhythmias or rhythm changes to the primary nurse. 
  • You will report changes in pulse oximetry data to the primary nurse. 
  • You will assist in maintaining telemetry supplies. 

What qualifications you will need: 


Applicant must successfully complete the monitor technician credentialing process within the first three weeks of employment.
