EKG Monitor Tech
To receive training to observe, document and communicate EKG rhythms for an assigned group of patients competently and continually.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrates written, interpersonal, and communication skills as appropriate to position
- If competency is achieved (attainment of competency test score required by department management) and upon successful completion of departmental orientation, the employee will be promoted to Monitor Tech
- If competency is not achieved, employee must be moved out of this position or terminated in accordance with IH policy and procedures
