ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

 
Position Summary:  
The OTG Money Room Attendant at EWR ensures the integrity of the company cash vault at opening and closing, and crewmember distributions and returns. Prepares and ensures accuracy of bank deposits. Reconciles cash receipts and reports with cash at shift end. Provides teller services to cashiers and staff throughout the shift. Prepares and updates accounting spreadsheet. Documents and reports overages and shortfalls of crewmembers according to OTG Cash Handling Guidelines.  
Responsibilities:  

  • Report all details for cash counting, accounting, opening, closing, and deposits  

  • Computer proficiency in spreadsheets  

  • Excellent writing skills for accounting and documentation  

  • Count and sort large sums of money in a fast and accurate manner  

  • Customer service skills for teller services 

  • Mathematical skills for cash counting and teller services 

  • Work independently with indirect supervision  

Qualifications and Requirements:  

  • 1 to 2 years of cash handling experience  

  • Able to be depended on 

  • Highest degree of honesty and integrity 

  • Banking experience, a plus  

  • Strong math and money-handling skills are a necessity  

  • Ability to lift multiple boxes of coins that may weigh up to 15lbs each 

  • Must possess a high regard for customer service and Team Member relations 

  • Ability to record of maintaining, verifying, balancing allocated cash drawer, including proper trial balancing all through the day  

  • Ability to multitask under pressure and supervision  

  • Pay rate: $22.50 per hour
